Easter Baskets

Another soft bag

With some more of the lovely soft wool I bought on Saturday I have made a square bag with silver buttons to fasten it and a long handle.

 The photos don't really do it justice. The yarn is lovely and soft and the colours are really striking.

Mini round bag

I have had a go at making a small round bag which you can fasten with a button. Ideal for children to keep small change in.

My daughter is going to see if any of her friends at school want to buy them.

Sunflower

I was experimenting with trying to get a sunflower.  I have made the flower now and am happy with it, just need to add some leaves and then I can get it ready to sell.

I could make it bigger, but at the moment its the right size for a brooch or keyring which is rather nice!

Soft long handled purse

I found some beautiful yarn going cheap in the works today.  It is super soft but I wasn't sure what to make with it, so started off with a long handled purse which looks much nicer than the photo below suggests:

Mini Basket

This morning I have created a tiny basket which will fit 3 mini eggs inside.  I can create them in purple, red or brown wool, and I am selling them for 50p (eggs not included).

New Website

I am currently designing a website for Crooked Cedar where you will be able to purchase items directly from the site and pay via paypal.  It is going to take a lot of setting up, but will hopefully be well worth it.

Mini Easter Egg Bunny Bags

My new idea today was to make a mini bag in the shape of an bunny face, to put a mini chocolate egg into.  Haven't quite got it right yet but here is the first attempt:

Last week I was busy preparing for the craft fair on Saturday. I didn't sell very much but met some great people and got some really useful hints on where I might sell and met some lovely people too.

Here were my tables:

On my art table I gave away free mini easter eggs to try to get people to stand and look at my work for longer. Despite have one man say how lovely my keyrings were, I didn't sell anything from this table at all.

On the crochet table I sold several things I only had one of so have no idea whether I would have sold more of them if I had more, or whether they just looked more attractive as there was less of them on the table, I will just have to see what happens in other craft fairs to find out if there is any kind of pattern.

Cards

I have been designing a range of cards using my crochet designs.  Here are some of the ideas I have come up with so far:
