Frog Face

My two year old boy wanted to have a badge so I wanted to make something different to a flower for him.  I was looking for ideas and thought of  a little frog face. The first attempt was as good as I'd hoped, but hopefully I will be able to improve in time.

More Brooches

I have made a bigger selection of brooches tonight so that I can put some on ebay.  I can do whatever colours people want so if you are interested take a look.

Progress on Brooches

My girls went to school full of enthusiasm about selling brooches for me and both made a sale each in the first day, which they thought was great (especially after I paid them their commission) so tonight I have tried a couple in a new design for them.

New Owl Mobile Phone Sock Designs

I have tried out a couple of new coloured owl phone sock designs today.  I think they are bright and cheerful.

MP3 cases

My daughter asked me to make her an MP3 player case, so I made one for her, and a couple for her school friends as well.  I kept the design simple as I didn't know how long it would be until she lost it!  She has already lost 3 gloves this winter and a hat and even a pair of school trousers!

Brooches

My daughters want to sell some crochet items at school for me, so I have started them off with some little brooches so that they can sell them at cheap prices that the children can afford.

I have also given them some of my early mobile phone socks to sell.

I am still looking for a really good butterfly design, but at least it is recognisable!

New Mobile Phone Sock Designs

I have been working on a whole new range of designs for mobile phone socks to see what is popular.  Here are some examples of the ones I have worked on today:

My children want to try to sell them at school so the monster design is aimed at their male friends.  Would like some more ideas for male orientated designs though.

First Sale

I am thrilled today as I have made my first sale.  It was only a small sale of 10 multicoloured hearts which I have put up on ebay, but I am really pleased and hope that it will lead to greater things.

Bunting

When looking for crochet ideas I came across some lovely bunting ideas.  I decided to try to create some heart bunting for valentines day:

I have seen some lovely cupcake bunting and so may try that soon too.

Mobile Phone Socks

My daughter wanted to learn to crochet and this inspired me to take it again.  I have been making a selection of mobile phone socks (more photos to follow later).

I will be selling these at local craft fairs (along with other items I am yet to make!), boot sales, and on ebay for £4.99 each.  I hope that people will appreciate all the hard work that goes into something like this.

Breastfeeding Necklaces

When I was looking for breastfeeding necklaces I couldn't find one that exactly suited me, so decided to create my own instead. After doing a lot of research into which materials would be best to use I decided on a rose quartz pendant with extra strong cotton cord.  I trued it out with my baby and he loved it!  I have now put them up for sale on ebay. 

For each necklace I sell I will donate £1 to Le Leche League  Shropshire who were a great support to me while breastfeeding.
